A concrete conference table for sustainable business relationships
This project was carried out for a company that works in the field of environment preservation by enabling its customers to develop the best practices in terms of products and packaging marketed. The working environment should reflect their commitment to preserving the environment and contributing to sustainable development. From the beginning, it was desired to use concrete for their office furniture. After analyzing their needs, we suggested that they create a custom concrete conference table. A challenge was launched : to incorporate their logo, but also Verrox – a cemented addition to Quebec that increases the durability of concrete while reducing the negative impacts on the environment – making the project more eco-responsible. The natural pigments were purchased from a Quebec craftsman, and we did business with another Quebec craftsman to make a stencil that facilitated the integration of the logo. We also used the services of a Laval steel manufacturing company to design the legs of the conference table. The realization of this table is the result of an active listening of the needs of our customers and a creative collaboration with local companies.
Our conference table is beautiful ! Cygne Béton understood our needs and created a unique conference table that exceeded our expectations, both environmental (using Verrox), aesthetic (integrating our logo) and ergonomic.
